What Is The Point Of Buying Used Tires?
I see a bunch of mercedes and Bimmers and some low rate hondas and audi's in these used tire shops.
Are people really that poor to be wasting cheddar on some used tires?
You would think that if they can get the car, they can afford the maintenance .

Depends on how much used I guess. If it's just lightly used it could be a good deal or if the car was in a wreck or something and tires were spared

Kids. They don't really have that much money. A responsible adult male will change tires with a 1000 plus miles still left on 'em. Used tires go for like $30, kids can afford that.

I see more people getting knock off Chinese tires than used ones
A decent set of tires for a basic rim will cost you like 1k installed, go to the Chinese selling garages and you’d probably spend $600 out the door

You can probably find a set that still has a decent amount of life left if them.
I got a nail in my sidewall, truck came with bridgestones they sucked in the snow so I replaced all 4 with michelins. The bridgestones had 30k ok em and still plenty of life left

I've never purchased used tires?
Used car, yes, my current BMW is a 2016 and I bought it last year, but not used tires.
Thanks for the reminder as I need to get my tires rotated.
