Terrible sleep after great workout... why

Had a stellar upper body day yesterday, overhead press, behind neck press on both smith and standing barbell, some chest, tris, back and lats.

Probably a 2 hour workout, felt incredible.

Laid down last night and dosed off for a bit but then woke up and kept waking up on / off before dosing back off for a few more hours.

I believe I got enough food in last night, drank plenty of water, took some CBD to alleviate the restlessness.

Any ideas the culprit? I've been hearing that high test can interfere with sleep too? I'm currently on no fap / semen retention too.

Pre workout?

Apparently working out right before bed can raise your body temp
making it harder to pass out

If your workout was close to your bedtime, that could be it

Weight Lifting causes high blood sugar (Though it does increase insulin sensitivity making you have lower blood sugar throughout the day)

High Blood Sugar leads to tiredness/fatigue

If I lift to where I'm burnt out, I definitely feel that in bed later and have difficulty falling asleep. To me, that's the "fried CNS" feeling. Can do tons of cardio and get exhausted, and that'll leave me knocked out, but not heavy lifting
