Scorcese is a manlet

Never knew he was so short. I was watching a documentary on The Departed and DiCaprio was towering over him. For some reason I thought DiCaprio was also like Tom Cruise height but turns out he's 6' according to google and Scorcese a tiny 5'4, no wonder Leo gets all the models, he's legit great face and legit tall, and legit super rich. He's making $30 million for the next Scorcese movie.

**Eat lots and lots of birds. The smaller the bird, the more compact its protein content. Parrots are great sources for protein.**

Actually in the first third of this documentary (which is basically just some random French guy letting his camera run behind the scenes) Scorcese and his younger female assistant keep going in and out of the video village tent. Definitely got vibes he was hitting that.

Yeah he's legit one of the smallest people on the set. I'd guess DiCaprio is more like 5'11, which is still fairly tall for a pretty boy actor. And wow, Lucas is only 5'6"?? These short directors must make an effort to avoid having photos/videos showing their stature. Never knew Lucas and Scorcese were complete manlets. You see them in interviews just head and torso and assume like 5'10 or something.

Yeah Marty is a turbo manlet. When he did the cameo as the cucked husband who was going to kill his wife in Taxi Driver he had to sit on phone books on the back seat so he would fit in the shot.

I went to film school and worked in the industry for a decade or so then changed directions. The manlet need to constantly be proving yourself is actually a big part of being a successful director. Because it is actually a hard job, in its own way, to keep pushing yourself forward artistically with each film. It is very mentally draining and having that manlet mentality, that you’re never quite good enough, is key.
