Mind blown (flat earthers stfo)
If the sun were the size of a pea, the earth would be no bigger than about the single spot of a ball point pen on paper…not really visible to the naked eye and it’d be 2.3 feet away from the sun (70cm).
Jupiter would be the size of a poppy seed relative to the pea and would be 12.8 feet (4 meters) away.
Pluto would be too small to be visible but it’d be 97 feet (30 meters) from the sun.
The Voyager 1 probe (as of five years ago) would be 317 feet from the sun…approximately the length of a football field.
The nearest star, Proxima Centauri, would be 125 miles (202 kilometers) away and would be about the size of a radish seed. It’s too dim to see with the naked eye because it’s a red dwarf star. Proxima B, the closest known exoplanet, would be about 3cm away from the star but is still in the habitable zone because Proxima Centauri is a cooler star.THATis how far the nearest potential habitable exoplanet is away.
Betelgeuse, a star that is a red super giant, would be about the size of a car and would be 30,000 to 40,000 kilometers away (640 light years to scale). In other words, if you started off in the mid US, you’d have to encircle the globe and end up on the US’s East coast to reach it. And yet this star is visible to the naked eye.THATis how freakin bright stars are.
Mind blown. We’ll never make it to these other worlds bruh. We’ll destroy ourselves or be destroyed before that ever happens. How could aliens even do it? Starting to have my doubts on little green bruhs.

I mean if aliens exist that can travel between worlds they can time travel and the lizard people conspiracy theory is probably true (they are aliens and they set themselves up)
Also explains pyramids, Atlantis etc.. and religion as a guidebook for fledgling species they are shepherding ?

If the earth is curved, then why are contrails always straight lines as a plane flies from overhead and beyond the horizon?
Where is the curve?
