It boggles my mind how little self awareness people have at the grocery store

Especially old people. The grocery aisle is wide enough for two carts to pass each other, but without thinking they'll just park their shopping cart right in the middle of the aisle so no one on either side can pass by as they stare mindlessly at the shelf of products. And don't even get me started on people deciding to use the self check out without a single clue on how to use it.
