1 bet Dr. Phil hires actors to play these type of roles on the show to push whatever narrative he is trying to sell. For example, this guy looks too much like a stereotypical incel/nerd that the mainstream media want to associate tate's followers with.

You are right, alpha chads won't follow tate and yes tate will attract incels/nerds based on his message. However, a lot of incels/nerds don't look like the stereotypical nerd character we see on tv. Also a lot of average guys who can get laid and are dissatisfied with current society also follow Tate. The whole point of this is to paint his followers and movement as an incel movement which society already has distain and hatred for. So again, either Phil specifically hired an actor to play a character of what he wants the general audience to perceive Tate's followers as or he specifically picked a person from Tate's followers that fit the stereotype he wanted to portray to the general public.

More likely they just have a casting department that is only going to pick people to be on the show that fit what they want to show. Basically the same result as what you’re saying but instead of writing a script for an actor, they’ll choose a doofus like this on purpose to represent an entire community.
