I know we've heard it before, but still best to not push at that point in case this time is the time.

Just dip out the thread. Best case she is enraged as the attention stops, worst case she was actually going to do it and doesn't because we're not pushing it.

Everyone knows I'm not a fan, but at that point you have to leave it, beyond perhaps one message of discouragement.

Know tons of ppl like this irl. They love playing the victim and scoring points. She wont change cuz she doesn't want to. Shows all the signs of a borderline personality type. I probably shouldn't be posting this, but from my experience it's unlikely she will do anything.VERYunlikely. I've known many women over the years who are Cluster B personality types, narcissistic to the core, and histrionic. They talk about committing suicide to get everyone worked up and feeling sorry for her -- I hate to say it, but the reversal of some people who trashed on her before but now are worried for her, is why she said it. She's too self-indulgent and ego-driven to commit suicide rather than self-deprecating. Her talk of self-hatred over her weight issues or family issues was exclusively spoken of when she needed to garner sympathy due to people trashing on her.I may be wrongbut I think the talk of "I'm downing a bottle of pills" is a continuation of all that, just a next step.

I actually 100% agree, just would rather not risk it. Especially because in the (likely) chance she is just talking chit to get attention then no longer feeding it when it gets to that stage is a win too.

Real talk now… you’ve hit the nail on the head. Dustin may not be the brightest or most rational, but she has clear indications that point towards BPD at the very least, if not histrionic personality disorder. She’s still online, revelling in the attention she has on the misc tonight.

She will be back tomorrow, claiming to have gained new insights and a realization that her habits are only exacerbating her issues. Within a few days however, she will be back to seeking attention and freaking out against anyone who disagrees with her or points out her issues.

This type of trash on here is annoying.

I tried to read the OP thread and couldn't deal with it. These conflicts aren't about anything and are using using the forum to bully people who open themselves to being bullied, which is puerile.

What would not be puerile is if someone kills themselves.

We have had miscers who did kill themselves and people thought it was a joke at the time.
