I really dgaf about what it was going to do to me. I travel a lot for work and needed it to be able to go to certain states. Also I had already had the COOF so I didn't really care.

My kids are a different story. I was prepared to pull them out of public schools and pay for private home schooling. Fortunately it didn't get to that point, but it was really close. My kids are all pure bloods.

got out of the military after 17.5yrs because i had a recruiter go behind my back, mislead the new unit i was transferring to and got my enlistment yanked the day of enlistment and literally 3 days before my ETS / current enloistment was up. i was supposed to swear in with the other unit which was gonna be for another 3 to put me over 20. had no time to find another transfer before i ETS'd so i was out. finally found a slot to keep my rank and cross-train but they refused to let me back in unless i got the shot, so i got it.

chitty part is that if i hadnt had that recruiter double cross me like that, i would have enlisted in the new unit, been at 18yrs in no time and from what ive heard, it basically takes a whole hell of a lot and an 0-7 to kick you out once you have that much time in. so if i wouldnt have had that c0cksukking no good for nothing knob gobblin recruiter make a phone call and spook my new unit, i would have never had a break in service and would have gotten well past 18 before any administrative action woulda been taken since right when i got out was when it became mandatory so it would have taken a while to enfore it etc and would have taken even longer to boot me. lo and behold now its no longer mandatory.

i strongly advise EVERYONE to avoid military service if at all possible, unless you have absolutely nothing else in life going for you. you think you have rights? you dont have sh*t.

I got the J&J for work. I figured I'd let others try out the mRNA ones. I knew the push for mRNA shots was heavily due to a desire to test them out, as the end goal for them has always been to use them for cancers. So using them for Covid was a testing ground. That competing desire felt a little suspicious. The J&J had a very rare possibility of a deadly clot. The mRNA shots don't cause that specific type of clot (that I know of) but in general cause other blood clots a lot more frequently.

I got covid right out of the gate, and didn't find it pleasant. So, when a vaccine became available that drastically reduced your relative risk of serious illness and death from covid...I was happy to take it.

I also was sick of the toilet paper wars and eager for things to get back to normal with my martial arts gym. Being around older family was also a factor...

When I would go out in Toronto the hostess would scan the QR code and a green check mark would appear next to my name on the tablet … then I’d have to show ID
