I've been in an arranged marriage for 28 years AMA

Not arranged in that our parents made the deal and we were stuck with it (her parents did get married that way) but we didn't date at all before we got married.

got some interest, so I thought I would do an AMA. Ask away.

I've got 3 questions:
1. What culture are you and your wife from?
2. Do you both believe this is the best way to get married and stay together?
3. What have been the biggest hurdles in the time being married this way?

1. I'm American and she's Polynesian
2. I don't know about best. I know a lot of people, including her parents, who have gotten married that way and stayed together for the duration. I also know a lot who have done it the "normal" way. This has worked for us.
3. The marriage itself hasn't been much of a hurdle. We moved to the US a year after we got married and she got pregnant within about a month. Homesickness/culture shock/pregnancy hormones are a bad combination.

Not nearly that big, but definitely bigger than 28 years ago.

The American business environment has fundamentally changed, following the insider trading and savings and loan scandals. Explain business ethics and how they're applied today.

Given the increasing inter-dependence of economies in an era of globalization and the synergistic transactional transfer of wealth, a unique window of opportunity for a win-win paradigm boils down to one simple detail:Spoiler!

No, we actually get along really well. Couldn't have gotten married if her father hadn't approved.
