Stayed in Paris for 6 days. Was nice. Couldn't imagine being there more than 2 weeks. Paris is only a great novelty for its museums and historical based attractions. Outside of that after awhile once you've seen and done everything it just becomes any regular big city. Food is top tier though. I ate at Kong which has the glass dome and styled seats, was a nice atmosphere. Have to say though, my apartment was on Rue de Ecole and out one window was the Pantheon and the other could get a great view of Notre Dame. But the overall smallness of the apartment/loft kind of grew old quick and I wasn't there more than a few days. Unless you're baller and can buy out a floor apartment like in Taken or something, you're living in a cramped cupboard.

Edit: Too many Africans running scams on the bridges and tourist spots. They were everywhere and this was back in 2015.
Edit edit: World class cities are only great for visiting, not living in. Place like Lyon or Annecy would be ideal.

Only time I saw women that didn't shave their armpits was when they were nonbinary monstrosities with the bowlcut hairdo, big rimmed glasses and excessive amount of piercings.

Women in general though are some of the most beautiful in the world. The thing is that where I was living (8th arrondissement) which is the center of Paris probably the best location you can live in, you only ever see tourists around. People from all over the world are coming to visit. And in that area, is a lot of expensive designer brands/shops and expensive restaurants/cafes etc. The people that are coming to vacation in Paris are usually people that have money to do so. And more often than not, people with money are better looking than those who are not financially better off. I never saw more beautiful women in my life everyday just walking the streets SRS.

Depends on what you like. Id highly recommend going in the spring. That is the most beautiful time of the year to go. I wouldn't recommend in the winter since its cold as **** and you will be doing a lot of walking around the city.

If the best thing you can come up with after 3 years is the shopping, got sum bad news for you son. What are you a woman? Paris is bad arse with a lot of the stuff you could do there, again, would get old fast and quick. But since I am a history geek, I could at least be pulled in and always finding out new things from that angle. LOL, shopping being the best thing, get outchea.

the guy is a literal cuck. He thinks he is a celebrity. I absolute cringe just thinking about the guy at the world cup thinking he's part of the national team. One of the apartments I lived in was like 30 seconds walking from the The Élysée Palace (equivalent to the white house). I'd always see like 30 police escorts leaving. Also near where I lived was Hotel de Crillon, I'd always see celebrities etc since all the big celebs only stay at that hotel. One time I saw justin bieber leaving with hailey baldwin from the hotel and a few hours later I see an Instagram post of him wearing the exact same outfit at a party or some sht with macron. See below image. Guy just likes to be the center of attention.

Well after 3 years, I did everything I could and saw almost everything that needed to be seen. Life there as a resident vs as a tourist are completely two different things. Of course I have a lot of great memories with friends/family visiting/meeting new people etc. A lot of great restaurants that arent french that I crave. Paris is a city of tourism. I wouldn't recommend living there especially if you are not French or speak French (which I do not).

History/museums or just wandering around is more my speed. I don't do social media (besides misc) so I wouldn't know about that stuff. Not that I have plans to go to Paris any time soon but maybe one day.

I would strongly recommend it at least one time. It is an incredibly beautiful city if you go to the right areas and at the right time of year. Just don't have super high expectations of cleanliness.

1. yes there is piss and sht all over the streets. I literally would only be looking down at the ground in front of me when walking because there is human and dog sht everywhere that I am trying to hop scotch around. There is also piss smell in a lot of places which is more pungent in the heat of the summer.
2. Yes but Id recommend only visiting once for maybe 2 or 3 days is enough as a tourist, then go to another city in Europe.

Did you venture further into France? Versailles, Mont St-Michel, WW1/WW2 sites, neanderthal caves in the south, roman sites? Fuark too much to see in one lifetime

3 years and can't speak any French above a high schooler? Also a fail, no offense. Anyone living abroad in one area more than a year who can barely order at a restaurant is cringe. Reminds me of the Canadian living in China with a Chinese wife and 2 kids who needed help ordering a fukin coke. If you plan on living or staying long term, best way to set yourself apart and make you more attractive to the women is to learn the language. Sure you can settle for the chicks who want a study buddy but the true hotties are going to be locals.

let's just say it feels like there are fewer french people in Paris now than any other race (it feels like). some sort of protest every weekend for god knows what. Ill end it by saying I wouldn't let my wife walk home alone at night, especially near areas by the main train stations. (St. Lazar is a good example).

True and I 100% agree. I didn't put in the effort or care to really learn the language aside from basic phrases to get by with daily needs.

My wife is Italian so I put my energy into learning Italian. Our plan wasn't to stay that long in Paris but COVID happened and fk'd up our plans. We are now living in Milan where I speak at a conversational level.

We went to Versailles but that's about it. Any vacation time we had we spent in Italy tbh. My wife's family all live here and we would spend all of our time at the seaside, beach, etc.

Now that we are based here we will have more time to spend our vacation days in other countries.

I will definitely be going back to visit the south of France in the coming months.
