Had my birthday celebration tonight turning a vintage 48 and have a 9 and 7 year old. We've been going through Star Wars movies lately and they love watching NFL football with me on the weekends I have them (divorced dad with split custody).

Tonight when we got home from school they banished me up to my room and decorated downstairs with a Star Wars theme, then gave me a stuffed buffalo (Bills fans) and a Darth Vader t-shirt, then my youngest when I was tucking her in had wrapped her favourite stuffed panda with a note saying I could have it whenever I wanted. And my oldest wrote me a card that made me tear up it was so sweet. They had also made cupcakes with their mom earlier in the week and put candles in them for me to blow out.

Completely blown away by how thoughtful little kids can be. Hope that other parents on here can relate and feel free to share your good memories of times with your kids. I won't forget this one.
