Black Phone was pretty good

I'm always looking for a decent movie since there's so much sh*t out there. Watched Black Phone yesterday - it was pretty good. I'd give it a 4/5. Free on Amazon Prime.

It is good. But many are saying it is one of the best horror movies of last year when it is not even horror.

Def. a thriller, not a horror as others have said. It was pretty entertaining. Good to see Ethan Hawke in a movie again

That would be Terrifier 2, Black phone would probably be second place for me though.

It felt like the writer and director were much more interested in the coming of age in 1970s Denver story, and kind of mailed in the horror story.
