What’s the deal with Lululemon clothing? Why is it so popular?

Am I getting this right? $80 for a shirt? $100 for a pair of shorts

Can someone clue me in why I should pay this much for this? Is it comfort?

I only own their pants because they're legit nice and if they ever rip you bring them in and get a new pair free.
