Going to Vegas, hotel recommendations?

First time as a "adult" going to Vegas. Going towards the end of July. I have heard you want to stay center of the strip as much as possible. Will be going with a bunch of other ~30 somethings. Looking for a higher end place with awesome pool. Narrowed it down to the Cosmo, thoughts?

Cosmo is solid. A younger crowd than us 30 year olds but a solid choice. Aria is another favorite of mine but can't speak for the pool. Bellagio is Bellagio. Nice pool but tends to cater toward an older crowd. I stay at Caesars myself. Nice pool but again caters a bit older. But I like that I can walk across the street to Cromwell and Linq for lower table limits and a younger crowd.

If you want to be really fancy the Wynn is probably the best product on the strip. Not cheap but probably not that much more than Cosmo. The location is what kind of sucks though. Not too far out but adds a bit of walking to wherever you want to go.

Random funny story I remembered from the last time I stayed at the Wynn. My now wife and I were just out of college not making much money at the time. We stayed at Wynn but our room wasn't ready yet when we got there. We decided to play a bit and ended up blowing 80% of what we took for that trip. That was also a trip for us to play more than usual and "go crazy." What a garbage trip that was. Thankfully we aren't as poverty anymore.

I'd suggest Wynn/Encore since you're in you 30s.
Thing is, it's really expensive, but if you don't mind paying it's the number 1 Resort of the strip for a reason.

The higher end millenial hotel is definitely the Cosmopolitan. The other higher end ones are typically like the Venetian, Bellagio, Caesars palace, Aria, etc. Then you have the prime middle aged/boomer/cheaper places that are okay like Harrahs, Mirage (soon to be hard rock I think), flamingo, and so on.

I think Cosmo is the best choice for that age group wanting to feel a bit more high end. It's definitely one of the pricier hotels, but it's fun. I was at the bar until 5:30am after everything closed and met a bachelor party of black guys, an english family with hot sloots, a black pimp and and his bishes, and saw Tyson Beckford walking around while a fooking 9/10 young whore/prostitute was eye fukking me trying to get me to come over to see if I'd pay her for sex. I remember seeing her walk around arm in arm later with a rich fat dude wearing a 40k rolex.

Quite the hotel.

All solid recommendations however also consider resorts world. It’s a beautiful place.

I only stay at Wynn but haven't been in 10 years since I met my wife. Wynn had the highest class of women, food and club XS was new back then.

I assume Wynn is still the highest class one. MGM was good for a tourist experience but when I started going monthly I moved onto Wynn.

I'm not sure if it's still a thing but I had two club promoters as friends who got us vip tickets and entrance into everything. One was named John, the other was Kam. If you can find a promoter you'll enjoy your nights out a lot more. In the beginning I would tip them $100 but after a few visits the vip treatment was free and I covered their expenses when they hung out with us.

You could also call clubs and get on early entrance list earlier in the day but once I knew the promoters that stopped.

I've never stayed on the strip, I stayed at Mandalay Bay and Courtyard Marriot. It's less than a 10 minute uber to the strip. I don't think it really matters as long as you dont get a budget room. You probably wont spend much time there

I've stayed at the Aria and Venetian before. I prefer the Venetian due to it's location but both hotels were very nice.

Yeah Venetian is pretty fukkin nice. Get a room with pool view on like 5th floor if possible.

Aria is a great hotel
It’s location is barely “on the strip” though

I get free room and suites at any MGM property. I can get you a suite at Vdarra and probably one at Aria or Bellagio for free or super cheap.

But I would need a deposit sent to me after I make the reservation. And don't worry I can put the reservation in your name as a guest as well.

I enjoyed the paris. The pool isn't that great and it's outside. I think it caters more to older people 40+ but i liked it lol. Don't want to be around a bunch of zoomers anyways.

I realized I was old now when I was in Vegas seeing all the zoomers around lol.
