Why do people do CreditCardMaxxing and NoSavingsMaxxing???

I’m 22. Currently have over 20K saved up, both my credit cards paid off, and my credit score is 770.

Yet I see people around my age and older that have zero savings, always maxing out their credit cards, and always going out on weekends buying drinks, going to expensive restaurants, buying new Jordans and costly North Face jackets, buying other stupid chit

I’m like how. How are you not stashing at least 1,000 a month in savings and budgeting your money

Low IQ.

I get it, it's tough. I'd love to spend $2000 on a 65in OLED tv, but then I'm just into more debt. And saving money feels good.

I'm gonna use my entire $1300 refund to pay off some high interest credit cards, then I'll be able to save even more.

Some people don't have the discipline to delay gratification so they spend money they don't have on things they done want to impress people they don't like leaving them maxed on the credit car and no savings.

"Keeping up with the Jones's"on a national scale. Social media hasn't helped either. It's amazing how many people who can't possibly earn more than 35k/year are living baller lifestyles 24/7.

To answer the question OP, everyone is debtmaxxing because they don't give a fuk anymore. The scamdenic and clown world that followed has jaded millions.

If you're not at least triple leveraged, the you aren't even trying.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

When you say you lost 6 figures 'in the stock market' do you mean you were trying to play the market? Or do you mean from longer term investments?

Long term. But that would have been a lot more fun to actually get something out of it, sold it, then still be ahead of where I am.
