Billie McFarland of Fyre Festival sh*tshow is back at it

I realize he has to make $$ to pay his $26 million in restitution to fraud victims. However, can't he do something that doesn't sound shady or confusing? His new company, PYRT is appropriately pronounced "Pirate".

...after serving time, McFarland is back (and in his own opinion, better than ever) and here to offer his services in his newest venture: a technology company called PYRT, which McFarland is calling the "virtual immersive decentralized reality."

He describes the technology as something "that brings together and connects people around the world both virtually and physically. Then once they're together, it allows people to actually affect real-world change."

I’m always amazed at how some people are such effective bull**** artists that they can literally make millions of dollars off of nothing, and without providing any value to society.

This dude will probably make another 40 mil, rip off the wrong person again and do more time in jail, just to make another comeback in his late 40’s.

Money is easy to get if you're willing to go get it. Most people want it given to them

If that were true, these people would just go into legit industry instead of becoming master schemers and hustlers. I’ve known people like this and I’m always dumbfounded at how they can get people to mindlessly follow them to their own detriment. It’s definitely a born personality trait, and an interesting one at that. I did sales for a little while and was completely unable to make any money. Meanwhile the skeeziest, fakest, most disingenuous and dishonest sales guys I worked with could sell ice to an Eskimo 7 days a week. I could always see through it, but it seems most people cannot.
