I don't know that net worth is the right metric to use. Who cares what your net worth is if you don't have the income, disposable income to make the payments.

I mean your networth could be 10 million but all your income goes to mortgage or other debt

true. but my net worth is 99% liquid.

i just started making big $$$ in the last few years with almost 0 expenses.

I would say if you own a home outright worth 2 million and your 401k is on track for your age.
