Nerds aren't nice people

Hollywood spread this idea that nerdy guys are nice while jocks are mean bullies. In my experience it's the opposite. The jock types are usually upbeat and don't try to put anyone down. Meanwhile the nerdy guys I've encountered are often snide like they have a grudge and superiority complex. The nerds who work in anything IT related are the most insufferable.
