When did they modernize? I always figured they were a little backward like the English.

Do houses really cost like 1 million minimum while on average salaries of like 40k taxed 50%?

Saleries are far higher, think 90k on average, which is taxed at more like 35% on average. Also tradies with their own business can easily make $1k a day

i lived in toronto and currently live in sydney, i'd say australia is more woke than canada tbh
