The used value is much higher too though so can just sell single player games for a small loss once you're done with them

When I was a kid, we bought Super Smash Bros on the N64 for $83.

Canadian currency is weird AF. We did have a few years where we reached near parity with the US dollar, and we did have new games for $60 during that time.

But a current gen game now costs almost $100.

With inflation I’m surprised games aren’t like 150-200 these days

Not really that mad about 70-80/game when I buy new 2-3x a year max

Happened with the PS5, Series X gen. Some are a little less though, and of course PS4/One games are still 60.
