Which band surpassed your expectations in terms of performance?

The opposite of the other thread...Which bands surpassed your expectations in terms of live performance?

Iron Maiden never fails to put on a good show but in 2017 after Bruce's cancer treatment people were wondering if he could still sing and I saw them live and yeah, he was singing so well he blew out the mic during Fear of the Dark. Ghost is another one, they opened for Maiden when I saw them and I never heard of them up until that point and they blew me away.

I saw this heavy metal band named "Red" the other day; they opened for Alter Bridge. They were very good. The two singers' vocals (unclean and clean) were smooth, and the whole group seemed so enthuisiatic. I had never heard of them before I saw them perform here, though the band has released 6-7 albums over the last 17 years.

Jackyl was awesome. It was in a bar. He cut up a bar stool on stage with a chainsaw. I bet no venues let him do that anymore.
