Anyone enjoy those 'fine' dining pretentious restaurants?
Been to a couple fine dining restaurants in the past month because of all the good reviews and I still have no idea why people would enjoy that?
Like I'd rather choose a nice big burger and a pint in a pub or local weatherspoons rather than spend hundreds of pounds for 'artistic' experience and pretend that it is something amazing while still feeling hungry after paying for all of it. Like sure the decor is nice and such but mate just gimme food.

I do really enjoy fine dining and experiencing food cooked with excruciating attention to detail and culinary talent, but, I hate it when you spend $50-60 on a main and get something like this:

Like, nugga please, that chit ain't gonna fill my stomach. I remember going on a date to an Italian fine dining restaurant and paying $48 for a ravioli dish, and it ended up being 6 pieces of ravioli. That's $8 for each effing ravioli.

Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.
