does alpha dad = beta son?

ive seen a lot of alpha dads walking around with sons like wincel. what causes this to happen?

That would be a narcissistic dad who pretends to be alpha but is not.

Alphas are leaders and leaders facilitate the development of those around them.

So, if your kid turns out beta that's because you suppressed your kid instead of helping them become a leader. Since the dad is a disguised beta, he can only produce another beta, not an alpha.

An alpha dad would make his son or daughter feel strong and confident. A beta dad does not know how to do that and makes beta kids.

when the Alpha Dad is so much of a provider / protector, the son doesn't have to get tough, develop alpha traits through hardship.


Being an Alpha provider and protector is one thing, but to raise your boy with those qualities is a different challenge.

I think adlerian is on the right path

Depends on what traits you're considering "alpha"

But I think a lot of times men are authoritarian. And that's what constricts kids development

You encroach upon their individualism and then they rebel. They don't respect you, cause you don't respect them; you make rules as "my way or the highway"

Authoritative is being strict on rules but allowing room for growth

Nah my dad is a true alpha. But he married an alpha swedish woman too so I didn't turn out to be beta

I think it usually adds up to incentives of using the unfair privilege his father has or fighting his own way in the world.

I've seen this, and it almost always comes from the father sort of aimlessly bullying every development, including natural strength his son would grow.

Trump's son Don is one of the worst examples. It almost makes me not like Trump. Dude went to the most competitive undergraduate school and became a total nobody because his dad divorced and kept smothering outside his domain.

Don Jr moved across the country to try to make it on his own, and his parents cut him off completely, like it is a better idea to have him totally submissive and under daddy's orders of money.
Don Jr also married a prosecutor woman older than his father's wife, clearly to counter the way his father's newest wife takes over the family image to exclude him, so his new bad b**** wife would fight more. Not an ideal marriage with a healthy nuclear family in regular ways.

I saw others that were worse, like an attorney who literally put his sons on house arrest because he felt like such a big man for having a law firm, when he was a nobody who just earned a good salary for some derivative specialization with no right to act like he's in charge of everything else about his sons' lives or even more qualified than them about it, as they were smarter and more accomplished than him who just did not want to give up the chance to bully them to feel important.

My dad is an alpha but both me and my brother are fa🐏s srs 😵‍💫 it happened because of our mom 🤔 while my dad was out doing alpha things 😄 she'd rage at us at home and lower our self esteem and chit 😂😵‍💫
