the algorithm changed from people actually needing to buy chit. to just trying to get viewers to then place ads there

that's the new model. and it started with people stealing porn from content producers and putting them on tube sites. the stealing was prolific yet the traffic was insane to the sites. so place ads there and increase the number of people that see it. increase the potential engagement, increase the likelihood they buy your product

they get followers and then they can do whatever they want with it. money can be an extension of it too
