Can you imagine that? How do the police even maintain decorum? I hope they got a piece of that cream pie!

Republicans and police in the state have pinned blame on a law that went into effect on Jan. 1, which repealed a previous law that banned loitering with the intent to engage in prostitution. Police argue that the new law ties their hands from carrying out the rule of law.

CALIFORNIA PROSTITUTION LAW ALLOWS SEX ABUSE TO 'RUN RAMPANT' IN LOS ANGELES STREETS, VICTIM ADVOCATES WARN

The original bill was introduced by Democratic state Sen. ScottWiener, who argued it will protect transgender women whom he said are disproportionately targeted by police.

I don’t understand any of it to be honest. If your car gets stolen they won’t even look for it. If they happen to find it they mail you a letter. If someone steals your wallet and empties your bank account, cops will take a report but won’t bother looking for thieves. So many worse things cops won’t waste their time on. But they will get all the cops regularly to do undercover sting operations to bust people engaging in consensual sex. Weird

Never made sense to me either unless there's some arrest quota. If that's the case, johns are easy targets.

As much sex and onlyfans stuff is in the media now, you'd think prostitution would have been made legal by now, but the powers that be probably won't allow it for a monetary reason. Always comes down to money. We'll pretend it's about morality though.

Just a theory, but I think it's the same reason the IRS goes after the poor/middle class instead of the rich:

-Easier Targets
-Makes them look like they're doing something (when they actually aren't)

The rich can afford lawyers who will beat the pants off the publicly educated prosecutors. The middle class and poor just roll over and pay.

Woke peoplealwayscause far more racism, p3d0philia, sex trafficking, grooming, bigotry, and sexism than they prevent. Buncha self-righteous retards more worried about social cred than actually enacting positive change.

Is it backfiring though or playing out as intended?
