FL teacher in trouble for using his students as political props in videos

A sixth-grade teacher in Florida is being slammed after he posted a video showing white students bowing down to black students during a Black History Month skit.

Parents and families of children at Howard Middle School in Orlando are now voicing their outrage over the teacher using the students as 'political props.'

In the controversial video posted to TikTok, Ethan Hooper's students fan and feed three black classmates before bowing down to them in the skit.







Another video posted by the educator shows his students poking fun at the 'Stop WOKE Act' passed in Florida in 2022

The Florida teacher makes students participate in a series of tiktoks mocking the FL Dept of Education for removing books from schools containing pornography, CRT, and gender ideology

Why do teachers all of a sudden think they own your kids and not the parents? What a sick society within the Dept of Education. I'll say it again, the only way this gets changed without blowing up the Dept of Education is by setting live stream video that runs non stop in every class. You want my kid enrolled? Put the cameras up...

One reason I am glad I'm not a parent. I don't even like children, but at the same time there is this inner rage when people harm or exploit children like this. I have a 9mo old pupply and I know how I am about her.

This guy is playing a game of FOFA and he's a solid 8 on the FA chart, the ratio needs to be completed.

Florida seems to have a lot of teachers doing this type of thing. I am guessing it is some sort of backlash against DeSantis.

Really is sickening that teachers are given this much leeway to where they could even remotely considering doing something like this. But such is the state of the liberal and black mind these days. The MSM has basically told them you can just about do whatever you want and there will be zero repercussions.

That's not what happened here, and it was the OP that characterized the event as a skit.

But as usual, I agree with your underlying idea. If the situation was theoretically different then the response could theoretically be different. Not sure where that gets us though.

I just think if we're going to get anywhere we need a single standard. We have these loons on the left doing the lgbtqia2123123+ and the loons on the right with the "why my father left me" jew and black conspiracies. If only we could get rid of them, and if we had legit politicians, they would.

Absolutely 100%. Especially with something as basic as public education.

Basic math and reading hasn't changed in 100's of years, when schools get that right then maybe we can spend a little effort in the classroom exploring our feelings.

I don't know of strong enough words to use regarding my opinions on the importance of education for the country. Call it authoritative or fascist or whatever, pay what needs to be paid, enforce the rules, get it done. I'd be in favor of military school for everyone TBH.

We did have it right, I only see leftism calling math racist, trying to remove honors/AP classes and trying to overall dumb down society to create "equality."

The left is willing to go as far as 2+2=5 if it means <insert non-white skin color> gets it correct.

Leftism=regressive in the name of what they think is equality.
