How often do you rage?
I'm a pretty level headed person for the most part but still have a quick temper. I've learned to control it over the years so it doesn't affect my day-to-day life much
But sometimes the chit just builds up and I want the world to burn. Today is one of those days
Never been violent, the worst that I'll do now is throw random objects or yell in my truck alone and shout cuss words
feels

When i actively practice stoicism & mindful meditation i feel i'm at my PEAK, i perform better & i'm overall more postive/happy. Days without it i find myself getting directed by emotion and i'm more reactive it sux srs.

When I kicked open my moms pussy and dropped onto the floor, crawling at first slowly, barely able to lift my newly formed tiny muscles I was mad about it.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.
Makes me feel eternal, all this Pain is an Illusion.

There is literally no reason to be mad.
ever.
bUt IrOnMaNlEt, WhAt iF sOmEoNe KiLlED yOuR WiFe……
too much to focus on. the anger will distract you from accomplishing the tasks that follow the situation and accomplishes nothing.
about 99% of the conflicts that take place are nothing more than miscommunication and jumping to conclusions. There is no reason to be mad in those situations. Just work together to accomplish the common goals.
I got rid of road rage years ago.
Through a lot of deliberate cognitive “work”, i have almost eliminated anger from my life.
I absolutely still find myself getting upset from time to time, very seldom.
But I have trained my brain to respond appropriately. First, I am on the look out for the emotions. When I feel them, I focus on the physical impact it is having on my body. My heart rate increases, stomach tightens as digestion ceases as the parasympathetic nervous system takes over and adrenaline increases for the very well understood but hard to put words on “fight or flight” sensation that seemingly takes over. At which point, if we allow, we can default to very instinctive, egotistical, and extremely counter productive behavior.
When I get angry, again not often, my brain quickly identifies the emotion and I try to start identifying the source.
This is the key, when you find yourself being angry, identify the source of your anger. It usually has nothing to do with anyone or any outside influence. It is due to personal insecurities and fear.
Say your thinking process out loud in those moments and see how ****ing potato it sounds when you hear it.
Say it to someone else and identify the immediate regret you feel as you hear it and you realize you are being childish.
Have self awareness and most importantly, you have to get over yourself. At least to the point where you can accept responsibility for the consequences of your own actions and stop acting like a victim and blaming everyone else for your bull**** like the world owes you something.
That seems to be a very difficult thing for humans to do, and the ability to do it effectively does appear to be beneficial from my personal perspective.

I have blind rage. Most people who know me would say I’m one of the most easy going laid back people they’ve met, but there have been a handful of occasions where I’ve absolutely snapped and when I do it’s like a bull seeing red. I scare myself when I get to that point.
The older I get though, the less often I get angry. I used to get some insane road rage.

Don’t worry about making examples. Start over from scratch mfer.
without anger though.
That is the important part. Just don’t do it mad. It will interfere with your ability to perform. You will make errors.
