I forget his name, but a pretty popular conservative “influencer” (lack of a better word, I don’t know what he actually does), recently made some statements after a canceling attempt.


In order to be canceled you have to participate in it.

100% agree. You can’t be canceled if you don’t actively participate. You have to change your behavior in order to let it happen. It is a decision you are making.

However, I would advise caution here. One of those “pick your battles”, or “do you really want to die on that hill” type thing.

Someone does something absolutely atrocious, and pretend like it never happened, the consequences will only be worse.

This doesn’t really apply to the stuff we are discussing here though.

You will absolutely be made an example of if you kill a tranny just because of opinions. With or without your consent.

Exaggerated example just for the talking point. This warning does not apply for most instances of “canceling”.

If I got “cancelled” I assume it would involve my employer being notified and me losing my job. You can’t opt out of participating in that. That’s the real fear with being cancelled and why I stay quiet.
