Documentaries - the new one about the Murdaugh murders on Netflix is pretty good. I think the one HBO did is better though if you haven't watched that yet.

Netflix Pepsi, Where's My Jet? was an interesting doc series. Pepsi put out a commercial in the 90's that said "If you win 150 points you get sunglasses. If you win 7,000,000 points you get a Harrier fighter jet." So some college student took it too seriously. Got the points but was denied the fighter Jet by Pepsi so he sued. It went all the way to Federal Court.

Bit late on this, but on Netflix I watched "All Quiet on the Western Front" today. Was very impressed. Amazing cinematography & loved the score, but damn it was brutal. For docs of note, would recommend "Fear City: New York vs The Mafia" & "How to Become a Tyrant".

The Founder is fiction but it's almost a real life doc of the McDonald's story. And very good.

Someone made a Denzel Washington thread earlier, and from that thread I learned about Flight. Great movie, a little tear-jerky towards the end. Not a funny/positive movie though.

I liked Colosseum. Documentary about the construction of the Roman Colosseum and each episode has a theme that focuses on each type of gladiator that fought in it. I never finished it. I'm into Roman antiquity history so I enjoyed it. Only downfall like any documentary is they can get a bit repetitive about things.
