I'd be less focused on objects and more focused making sure only the right people were let in my country... like white people.

definitely not, reason is simple: Police won't hate their jobs enough to be perpetually jumpy and also guns should not be accessibly to the average r3tard. Australia has a good gun model (srs) - you can own guns quite easily but they are limited in capability and number, you must pass a psych evaluation and have a genuine reason.

I might do something similar to the Starship Troopers universe lore. Only citizens can own guns, only way to gain citizenship is through federal service
