I live near there, happened some time ago. Makes a case for working out in semi-normal hours, not when its just you and some psycho alone in the gym.


Having said that, my biggest fear in the middle of the night isn't having a plate dropped on my head, it's the drunken and violent Aborigines who wander around in droves. I was riding a bike one night and two of them run out from the bushes and tried to coathanger me off my bike.

And was eligible for parole after 10... also he only got that long because he didn't plead guilty at the first opportunity otherwise he would of got a further 25 per cent reduction.

Official charge was "unlawfully causing harm" lol kinda looks more like attempted murder to me but oh well

What makes this more disturbing is that it's seemingly a random act of violence. If there was some sort of history between these two then at least there'd be some reason, but nope, just malice directed at a random stranger.
