You can't really detox entirely from dopamine, but you can cut way back on addictive behaviors.
https://psychcentral.com/blog/dopami...y-this-instead
Biggest things are phones, video games, social media and porn. If you can even cut back severely on those you'll feel a ton better. One thing I did years ago was an honest journal of how I was spending my time and it gave me a big eye opener when I realized that just scrolling or playing video games was eating up hours a day even though it was in small increments.

Its fcking ueless. Example: Mr Idiot sprnds too much time drinking alcohol and watcjing porn
So he spends a month not doong these things to reset his brain. Now after a month he goes back doong the ****ty things again and after a few days hes back to drinking too much and watching top much porn
If you really and gonestly want to move forward in life you dont fix it wuitting bad behaviours for a month. You move forward by quitting these things forever.
Of course a month is better then nothing and to get a clear head. But at the ens of the day if you cant control a behaviour or it hurts your life a month is not the change needed.

A month won't change your life if you go right back to your starting point after. But if it's because you've never really experienced what it's like to cut everything out and just focus on yourself, the black&white may open your eyes to change.

I mean there are a lot of things that are dopamine driven in our society these days..,if you stay away from substances there are things like internet, tv, exercise, etc that causes an increase in dopamineโฆhow far the rabbit hole do you want to go is the question

A general life approach with small steps in the right direction might help lower your thirst for bad behsvioursxkn the first place.
Example: Guy watches to much porn faps to much no energy is the result.
If this guy actually implements regular exercise with better eating it might satisfy him in a way that porn is then not as needed anymore. So you can approach these rhings from a wider angle.
Everything I post is trash.

I am on a hard restriction.
No cheap and easy dopamine. Only through things like setting and achieving goals, exercise, developing skills, fostering meaningful relationships, exercise, meaningful sex with emotional connection, etc.
Obviously I am still miscing, which is counterproductive. I did listen to music on my way in to work this morning.
Man, I am still flooded with dopamine lol.
But it is good dopamine.
My shower this morning was so satisfying. Sleep last night was amazing. I donโt consciously crave an altered state from where I am. That is suggestive I have normal dopamine levels.
I probably should go a little deeper and cut off music and unnecessary internet stuffs.
Probably been said already, but you donโt want to completely deplete your dopamine. It is necessary for survival.
However, *******s have exploited it for personal financial gain, and now the average human does not have a chance.
Controlling dopamine is a superpower, I would suggest that, and getting over yourself are the two most important things a human can do for a satisfying life. Just me and my ignorant opinion.
Check this out man, it should help.
