Why does anyone use regular expressions?

They're a headache to read.

How is even 3 lines of code not worth it so anyone can read the logic?

Is there a context where they cannot fit a few lines?
Seems like nonsense.

No need to be so harsh ๐Ÿค” it's something you can pick up as you go ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘

Besides, you really should avoid using regex in-code ๐Ÿค” you should aim to get a structured input ๐Ÿ˜„ not some strings that you need to parse like you're in the early 2000's ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ it's useful for grepping things (code, logs, etc.) but avoid it when you can ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค”
