I went to Chicago in 2021 and she closed the beaches during peak Summer months because of COVID. She literally hired kids to patrol the beach and snap at people for touching sand. Meanwhile, there are portions of concrete wall which encircles Lake Michigan besides the beaches. These walls were totally fine to congregate around and swim off of. Made zero sense. Preventing people from going outside and breathing fresh air and soaking up sunshine during a pandemic was such a braindead, low-IQ response.

I remember I visited a co-worker and his kids, we took them to a playground and these 3 individuals came up and told us that the parks were closed, they had to be like 14-15 years old.

They then threatened to call the police, and we laughed.

I doubt they were even getting paid.
