Friend keep saying "We're getting old" - I fkn hate it (srs)

Went out with a mate last night


and he kept going on about how we getting old, bla bla....old this, old that......


fine, I get it. Humans get old every day, but I loath this attitude.


I have a hard time accepting aging as it is, I don't need a fkin kunt to keep going on and on about how we aged and chit


any thoughts brah?

Where did you guys go out? Club? Bar? If someone thinks they're too old then why did they come out?

what I think is weird is going out with people my age who only make old references, even the jokes are all tied to something 10 years ago. I'm not saying you gotta talk about the latest band but if every punchline ends with some dated reference its just weird.

I have a friend like this. Literally thinks he’s old as **** at literally 33 and has basically given up on himself already. It is VERY annoying to listen to him say we are getting old and aging etc. meanwhile I am doing better than ever with dating and **** and am working out every single day and look amazing. Hate that fking attitude so I know exactly what you’re saying

If you look at it scientifically, it's more about how worn out your body(organs) is. Someone who has exercised their whole life and doesn't smoke, drink or do physical labouring 6 days a week at 35 is probably healthier & younger than someone hitting the bottle hard, smoking weed, not exercising and eating like chit at 25. That's how I look at it, doesn't matter if you've done 4 less circles around the sun if you don't take care of yourself.
This is why some people say they're healthier and fitter than they were at 25. Which is true.

In all honesty, saying this as a 32 y/o. I just like to hit the sack between 10 and 11PM nowadays just to feel fresh and energetic enough to get through the daily grind. This includes going to the gym, household, going to church etc.

I don't have endless rivers of energy anymore like in my 20's. Staying committed to a routine is paramount on not ****ing my life up, srs.

I guess you could call this 'getting old' when in fact you just have more on the line and more responsibility compared to when you had less to think about as an early 20-something-year-old.
