One time, back in Naples, I work in the garden as a landscaper for a very rich man. Just me, I work there alone. Growing olives. My hands in the dirt, the hot sun. I was never so happy in my life as when I work at that place. Sometimes, I get the smell of olives in the restaurant or store, maybe. It makes me very sad.
