How much will a sales job destroy my sanity?

I have no charisma, nor the gift of gab. I don’t think I could sell in an umbrella in the rain. But I’m sick or retail and fast food, and most of the jobs available (without a degree) are sales.

It would probably be over the phone insurance sales or some bs like that. Worth?

You sound a lot like me personality wise...which means it's probably not for you.

Can't hurt to try if you really want to give it a shot though. It can be a great career IF it's a fit for you.

sales if in competitive market,
that have alot of players and needs
alot of edge cutting then YES

youll need to have strong mentality
with options,contacts and being able to socialize and having the perks of social engineering bastars adsss too.

if youll manage teams,then
its a different game....
the commisions once you setup yourself could be sexy
but as u said...it may fooooook you

Op I'm of similar personality, but honestly, if it's a niche you're interested in, you could possibly do good.
