Stewart isn't "destroying" anyone because he's doing a Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc causation fallacy.

That's popular in the media to fool people.

It's where you say the end result of something is the cause, but it's not.

50k gun deaths might be awesome numbers because if guns were impossible for average people to get, the criminal subculture would be empowered to murder more people.

So, his end result statistic is not indicative of the first cause of guns existing.

Didn't watch and don't care. Gun rights are the hill to die on and many of us are not going to budge. Hell, even blue NM just backed down on a bunch of proposed gun laws because they realized how unpopular they were.

Best option is maybe you can live a super blue state where your right to self defense is neutered. Live how you want and don't concern yourself with us in other states.
