Has anyone here ever unlocked a Verizon phone?

I’m trying to figure out the best way to get it done. Boost mobile is charging me money, but I can’t use my phone yet because it is still locked to Verizon.

It didn’t come with a SIM card, I got a SIM card from Boost, but it isn’t working because the phone is still locked.
