Rate this dinner that I rushed together



Thin sliced chicken breasts I marinated in Kinder’s teriyaki marinade for 30m. Then grilled. Maybe 8 minutes to grill.

Bagged salad. 3 minutes to prepare.

Boiled corn. 3 minutes to boil.

Fast food at home.
I probably banged your mom.

Plain, unflattering and depressing. A whopper valu meal would taste 10x better and I'd still have time left over to smash ur gurl before you'd even sit down to eat that crap

I basted the chicken with the marinade on the grill. It was a sweet garlic teriyaki flavor. It definitely didn’t need any sauce.

The corn was what I was keying in on. Chicken and salad look perfect. Your food is always top tier. Corn looks really good, too, but I find myself doubting. In fairness, I'm a bit of a corn snob. Fresh picked honey and pearl (no homo - serious, it's a legit variety) from the garden is so good I don't even bother buying corn from the store anymore. Always too much of a letdown. But I'm in the frozen north (snowed again last night, lol at coldcells) and you're in Florida, so maybe you can get good corn this time of year.

Edited to add: bonus points for not overcooking the corn.

I do that often but time made me throw it in boiling salted water.

The best corn is about 2/3 of the husk removed, pull it back and baste with salted butter. Then fold the husks back over and grill.

Comes out better than any corn you will ever eat out.

Nah. Just had one at a time in the plate. They were thin sliced breast and I cooked a couple of pounds. I ate 3 of them.

I like butter on corn when it’s going to be grilled after applying. The combination of the fat, sugar from the corn, salt and heat makes it a caramelize into a great flavor. I don’t care for butter on corn any other way.

corn takes longer to boil than that.if you would of boiled it then grilled it it would be proper.overall not bad
