White people are 63% of the population of and commit 45% of the murders (statistically it's far less, but the GOV lumps in Hispanic with White)
Black people commit 52% of murders yet are only 12.6% of the population.

So, no. It's not a culture issue that someone from 11 years ago decided to eat someone.

There are about 20,000 murders a year in a country of 350 million.

There are about 40 million Blacks in America. Even if half of all murders are committed by Blacks, most Black people do not murder anyone. When Black do murder someone, they are often Black people.

Oh but they do, if you asked a random person what percentage of Black people will murder this year, I bet you they would be wrong to the high side.

A better way of displaying it would be to say 40,000,000 Blacks, 20,000 murders annually means that about 0.05% of the Black population murder in any single year.

You could also say that Blacks account for about 10,000 murders per year but about 8,000-9,000 of those victims are Black, that means 0.05% of Blacks murder about 1,000-2000 Whites a year, so why are White folks so scared of getting murdered by Blacks?



Percentages.

13/50 sounds scary.

40,000,000/10,000 is not.

There is a huge problem with black culture, but that's not what the racists here are talking about. Apparently by virtue of having dark skin, blacks are subhumans. But they won't say it outright.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I don't know if anyone is quite suggesting that, but - we should be able to observe patterns and not deny them. Certain groups seem to demonstrate a higher propensity towards shyt behavior, on an aggregate/macro level.

Pretending said pattern doesn't exist, certainly won't solve anything.

And you think it's because blacks are blacks that they commit more crime? What else could have black Americans have gone through that could cause that?

Believe me, I get it. When there's an outlier of violence, any reasonable person would want to have that corrected. The discussion bring in racists and deniers. It's an almost impossible conversation. Me personally, I'd never go around in public decrying the damage that gang culture has done to communities because I would be labeled a racist based on my skin color alone rather than my message. Unfortunately that's a huge problem because I would genuinely love for innocent people living in gang infested areas not to have to deal with the fear of that culture. That's where a huge part of my opinion come from. I can't talk about the issue because I'll be labeled a racist, but prominent black people can. I just don't really see much of that happening.
