Let's say you have an 8 hour WFH shift, how many hours do you spend actually doing work and not goofing off
I just spend 2 hours lol. I can get everything done in 2 hours and spend the other 6 hours napping, watching TV, playing video games, miscing, and fapping.

Maybe they should combine your job with 2 or 3 other people's jobs and lay a few dudes off so you can actually work all day. Is that not feasible for some reason?

My month is cyclical....1st and last week of the month are easily 10-12 hour days 5am-5/6pm every day for a week straight....at my computer by 530am, taking 10 minutes here and there to let the dog out and grab food to bring back up to my office and can walk away from it around 5-6pm and still know that I have so much more to do.
The middle 2 weeks of the month on the other hand.....lets just say I get a lot of chit done around the house. I answer emails/calls, do some here and there chit, maybe do 2-3 hours worth of real work/day.

I work a solid day BUT I am a data analyst so when my code is compiling I am loading the dishwasher or whatever.
I don’t goof off during the day but I get all my chores etc done so evenings and weekends are free to enjoy guilt free.
Edit: and I’m on mute during a lot of meetings where I can be doing something else with my hands and just listen.

Well half my job is driving to peoples places so that takes up like 2-3 hrs. In terms of desk work that can range from 2-6hrs depending on the workload.
I dunno it varies

Toward the end of my last job it seemed to be nonstop. They made us on-call toward the end and I'd get calls at 3 am from India when they couldn't figure out a production error. I'm really glad I left.
