Post some great guitar riffs and baselines in here

Sup m(eight)+s, what are some guitar riffs and/or baselines that you think are the bees knees? It's Friday afternoon and I'd like to listen to them.

First up for me is November Rain, Guns N' Roses

from 04:10

Second is another Guns N' Roses, Sweet Child O' Mine

from 02:30

Them two makes my pussy dripping wet (srs)

Spoiler!
and I don't even have a pussy

For baseline, I can only think of this at the moment

Spoiler!

it's better to suck dink than to be killed

"My outer appearance was poor, but in this way my inner world became richer than anyone else's. Was it not natural that a young boy who suffered from an indelible drawback like mine should have come to think that he was a secretly chosen being? I felt as though somewhere in this world a mission awaited me of which I myself still knew nothing." --Yukio Mishima

Mif you want something more subtle listen to some vintage Red Hot Chili Peppers stuff. Like Soul to squeeze wouldnโ€™t be Anywhere near the somg without Fleaโ€™s artisic talent. Serious, if you have an EQ, turn up the bass and turn down the treble and focus on the bass work on this song all the way through but especially the chorus:

If you want more blatant awesome bass Primus as mentioned above is tough to beat. These 2 bangers have some good bass lines

Some Rollins Band for good measure

Slash ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿšฌ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŽฉ has a lot of good solos and riffs ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘

If you like november rain you'll probably like estranged also ๐Ÿค” If you want more like "action" songs then try anastasia or nightrain ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿค” but really you can just listen to anything by Guns N' Roses ๐Ÿ”ซโž•๐Ÿฅ€ & slash ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ‘

Bass player checking in.

I group Les Claypool into the same camp as Jaco Pastorius:

Amazing players that are technically creative and can do things very few bass players can do, but they are not enjoyable to listen to, at least to me.

If you want to hear some absolutely GOAT bass lines, listen to The Smiths. Andy Rourke is a fooking animal that can actually make music that's enjoyable.

Live's early stuff had some incredible bass lines as well

A great killer riff from 80s hair metal, from underrated band Loudness:

One of these guys could be SamraiWise, 100% serious. Correct age.
Back off, Warchild.
