The scrunch on the butt and high waste band work for the desired effect of those types of leggings, but I think the little semi-circle drawing under the butt look ridiculous. It doesn't sit in the right spot for most people, and even then it's just an obvious attempt at illusion that it sort of works opposite the intention in my mind. It's the butt equivalent of painted on eyebrows.
