Jenna Ortega is one of the current hot young stars but I don't get it

I've seen pics where her facial features, especially that huge jaw and chin look rough as hell. Her strong facial features kind of reminds me of a young Rosie Perez. Her youth is the only thing saving her.

In a lot of ways people have this weird perception they interact with actors/actresses. They hear them speak in their roles which adds an element of communication and connection that fitness models pictures can't convey. So people gravitate toward "crushing" on actors/actresses a lot more than random models. They feel like they know these people, which is part of being attracted to someone.

For this woman in particular, a lot of people liked her Wednesday Addams character and developed an attachment. Her actual aesthetics, on some level, are almost secondary.

As I said in another thread, she is not an uncommonly-looking Puerto Rican girl. Go walk around the Bronx or Sunset Park to see similar Latinas
