Maybe I'm just an Oldcel Boomer now, but I think bragging about/glorifying that shyt is cringe as fuk. I've certainly done my share of degenerate shyt, so I try not to be TOO judgmental about engaging in the behavior itself as I am about the glorifying of it (especially if you're past your early 20s).
