Calling out 7empest and other metal bros

Please tell me you've been playing the new Periphery record on repeat since yesterday. It's an absolute masterpiece. Full of both beauty and brutality. Manly tears were shed at the end of Thanks Nobuo.

i do not like metal with high pitched/melodic singing. seems weird. i want to hear that anger and aggression. it just goes perfectly with the hard hitting drums and guitar. but the production is really good and the first song and video is cool

im mostly into hardcore tho

this just came out a few days ago and its only an indie band and i think its way better then what you posted

how can you not like the opening riff? and the drumming is great throughout. its not 1 song its a few its just a demo man.

i know yer dogging on it cuz i didnt like your stuff.

the only mainstream metal bands i really like are hatebreed and lamb of god. but even both of them have fallen to mainstream softer sound for teenagers. thats what i think of your music you posted. made for the basic masses. i want music for men made by men

I listened to about 10 seconds of his vocals and was immediately turned off. I'm picky with vocals just like you but in the opposite way, I'm not a fan of generic sounding metal vocalists which is why I can't listen to bands like Hatebreed/Lamb of God/Trivium/Gojira etc..

I'm also not a fan of tough guy metal that's just heavy for the sake of being heavy.

yea brutal dm is def an acquired taste and i cant listen to it all day but I enjoy it alot

dude from my band told me to check out periphery, cause it's a band i've totally over looked. first track i heard from them was Blood Eagle. immedietly thought, how the fuk haven't i checked out these guys

i'm gonna have to check out more. will report back after listening to this OP, cheers mayn

If you dig Blood Eagle, you'll love Feed The Ground. Their whole discography is amazing, though I'm not a huge fan of their very first album. Everything from P2 to P5 is GOAT. Let me know if you want any specific recommendations.

Jesus ****ing Christ OP I got to 26 seconds of that first song before I gave up. Not going to listen to the rest of them because they are likely equally limp-wristed ***got garbage. Makes me think of some kind of new wave of ***got mallcore radio-friendly nu-metal.
