ITT: We post photos of our cutting meals/ideas for cutting meals

I've been cutting for a solid month now and it's been going really well. This isn't my first rodeo and it gets smoother and easier every year. I find I've developed a really nice system of being able to create interesting meals while respecting my daily macro breakdown. I focus on consuming particular staples and you'll probably notice a trend emerging in these images. Lean protein, carb, greens for main meals pretty much.

Point of this thread: cutting doesn't have to be boring. It can be a creative challenge. Best of luck to all my boyos here and their lifting/dieting goals.

Post images of your own cut creations! I will rape you if I get the chance.

Will look into that - thanks!

I generally don't sauce stuff when I cut (no ketchup either). Having said that, it might look dry, but it's actually really moist. I marinade all my lean meats in a mixture of lemon juice and a variety of spices and even BBQ'd it winds up pretty moist and juicy. That's one of my secrets to flavour while cutting.

The Teriyaki one is the GOAT, imo.

I tried the Honey Mustard one once, and vaguely remember not liking it very much.

Maybe it's time for a Big Daddy (tm) condiment line.

It's also not actually sugar free. The label is misleading, because they listed the serving so small. When something is less than 5 calories a serving, they can mark it as zero calories and zero carbs. However when you actually use a decent amount you are consuming an easy 15-20 carbs. That can make a difference when cutting. Just look at the ingredients and use some critical thinking about how a tomato for example can be carb free. I listen to Dave Palumbo daily, and he is anti sauces when dieting. (Ded fkn Srs)

some Amazon reviews -

1.0 out of 5 stars Chemical fake sugar taste

This bbq sauce tastes very strongly of that chemical fake sugar taste which just ruins the sauce. Wish I could return them but they are not eligible for returns on amazon, if you don’t like that strong fake sugar taste do not buy this.

OMG! Seriously? All I could taste was a disgusting artificial aftertaste. Not at all what I was expecting. I threw every bottle away! Do not waste your money. This product tastes nothing like BBQ, I would rather do without then use this.

I'll look into these BBQ sauce recommendations in this thread. This is why I misc and post threads like this - helpful ideas and tips from people who actually lift and focus on nutrition

I have to admit that I'm no longer a big sauce guy. My wife is, though. She slathers that schit on everything. I often make fun of her for her ketchup use and make jokes likening it to her love of my own special sauce....if you get my drift

Gonna try to make tacos soon and fit this in.

I've currently got my big batch of chilli on. I make a large batch Sunday and split it into 4 portions for the next 4 days. Works really nicely.

Any other boyos wanna share some cutting meals? For those that are cutting this spring, how's that going? I tried turning my daily potatoes, eggs, and cheese consumption into something interesting last night and it turned out pretty interesting. Some kind of a potato pancake thingy.

I also once in a while fit things I wouldn't eat daily into my macros. I made tacos the other day. The corn tortillas became my carbs and the extra lean meat was my protein. Shredded cabbage in there as well as broccoli on the side. Fit quite well.
