Crypto market reads a rate cut coming. More liquidity = higher coin prices. Always has. The crypto winter started once rates started to go up. Really speculative instruments like lower rates. it leads to higher leverage.

I'd say a fair amount is algo/quant driven. They read "rate hikes" or "bank run" in the headline code and will automatically rebalance away from the volatility to one of a few liquid "hedge" instruments. In this case crypto.

Also, a lot of retail retards are probably sucking off their MRE rations with NVG's on saying "its happening" and railing their EBT checks into the crypto market, but doubtful that it will have that large of an impact compared to institutional class money.

In no world is a rate cut coming. Jpow wants to push us up to 5.75%. Its just how long it takes him to reach it. No one is saying "rate cut" they're saying "smaller rate increase than expected"

I'm not here to tell you the crypto market is correct homie. I'm here to tell you why its moving like it is... its your job to decide if its wrong or right and take the side of the trade accordingly. In this case, sounds like you'd short coins coming into the next fed meeting, go for it.

The full moon as usual will be post halving, typically the year after halving so 2025. But it'll be mostly trending upwards between now and then

Das it, Ya I've been accumulating hard for a year now. I thought we would run up to the halving but didn't realize typically she runs for a year after.

This just gets better and better as long and BTC sticks to the plan.

Hey @hxa, while some folks are putting their savings into Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other altcoins, not everyone is taking the plunge. The volatility of the market has some folks cautious, but others see it as an opportunity for higher returns compared to traditional savings accounts or stock investments.
