Have you ever had a final destination moment in your life?
What I mean is from the final destination movies.
Ever had a crazy sequence where afterwards you thought wtf? I almost died or was close to it?
I'll share a story:
When I was 12 years old I was playing outside with my friends hide and seek, and all of a sudden it started storming outside.
I had found a pretty good hiding spot right near a tree, but then decided nah not a good enough hiding spot, and moved. Well like a minute later a huge lightning bolt struck the tree, and make smoke come out of it.
It was pretty crazy, and I thought what if I had been right near that tree.
What about you misc?

almost got robbed twice, ded fkn srs, but senses were going off, doing mental calculations putting pieces of the puzzle together in real time telling me to do something STAT. so i did.

A few of them.
The scariest one was I was about 2 seconds away from being t-boned by a semi on the interstate during a snow storm and the only thingthat saved me was the roads were just slick enough that I went in the ditch.

i was an autist in high school and ran across the road while a car was coming at 55+ mph
if i was another nanosecond too slow i wouldve been hit. like two inches between me and the car when i jumped into a ditch. friends were there and still give me chit about it.
my life has gotten progressively harder ever since then. i think i might've actually died and my consciousness was transported into another reality. things feel off.

Daylied a motorcycle for 15 years. I have like 20 of em where a 2 second decisions was the decider for living or dying...
Any rider whos put in that sorta time will have a bunch.
Cliffs of one:
-Be me riding without a helmet on 2 lane road
-Unexpected 4PM downpour
-Car 100M in front of me gets in left turn lane, but leaves his ass in the travel lane entirely clogging the left lane
-Look to my right at the car traveling parallel with me in the right lane - he catches my eye and sees the problem
-Dood shifts another foot or so right towards the shoulder so that I can split lanes between him and the car turning and not die (bullets 3 through 5 take like 2 second to happen, as we're going 60 mph ish)
-Didn't have time to brake that hard in the rain, would have lost the front wheel if I did (or not stopped in time)
EDIT: The first time something like this happens riding you get a bit shaken up, but after years, you're way better at seeing them coming, and you brush it off like its BAU.
Any rider whos put in that sorta time will have a bunch.

Overseas. Not sure if pre-destination stuff since stuff like that happens in combat.
-Standing outside by my vehicle. An Ambush was initiated on us with an RPG bouncing off my vehicle. They forgot to arm the rocket.
-Car bomb pre-detonated 100 yards before I arrived at the target location. Killed dozens.
-A few IEDs missed by meters. Minimal damage but rung my bell.

Woke up after a many drinks to find a homeless guy kicking me telling me to move or he will kill me. Genuinely thought he would he had that look in his eyes. I gained what little composure i had and walked off quickly. Was scared af.

Lost traction in a massive snow storm, spun out and slid into a ditch. Watched a lot of videos on what to do before I headed out and fuk none of that helped at all. My dog didn't even wake up, just chilin next to me LMAO.

I nearly drowned as a kid.
So my aunt has a big pool. I had the genius idea to close the pool cover so that there only was a tiny opening at one end. So i went into this tiny opening and I dived below to the other side of the pool and back.
Of course that was not enough so i dived two times back and forth. I did this until one time i opened my eyes and wanted to dive up until i realised the opening wasnt there. So with my last breath I dive back and forth looking
for the opening which i found with water already in my lungs lol

Had a setup like this on a campout (but with longer hoses and everthing was spread out more):
I came across the pole sans-lantern one morning. A couple guys were tidying up the cook area and someone had a pot of coffee over an open gas flame. Something looked wrong as I looked from open pipe spewing forth propane and gas stove 5' away. Nobody else noticed or cared, but I feel like it could have caused an explosion.
